Badimo Gas was established in 2005 by Donald Ncube and Brian Hughes to explore for and develop, South Africa’s petroleum resources including coalbed methane (CBM) and unconventional gas.

The Minerals and Petroleum Resources Development Act 28 of 2002 provided opportunities for the entry of new companies to the energy industry.  It has also facilitated access to large and contiguous areas for exploration.

The company will look for opportunities in both degassing of mines as well as the development of ground in exciting green and brown field projects.
